The first plenary meeting AROMA3D-Space/Hybrid (NextGenerationEU [UNICO-5G I+D/AROMA3D-Space/Hybrid (TSI-063000-2021-70/71)]) has been held in CTTC on the 18th of October 2023. In addition to the involved CTTC staff from the SRCOM research unit, representatives of the involved companies, HISPASAT, NEARBYEDGE, INSTER and INTEGRASYS, attended. The different partners presented a summary of the work done and the ongoing technical work towards the deliverables of the end of the year and their dissemination plans. The details of the different collaborations and the proof-of-concept plans were discussed.
At the workshop “Aligning European NTN Convergence and Integration” - EUCNC2023, that had been held on June 6th, 2023, Dr. Musbah Shaat presented the project AROMA3D. The basic building blocks of the projects, and the details of the different subprojects had been presented clarifying that project aim at designing reliable B5G/6G communications in 3D networks that include both terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks.
The first plenary meeting AROMA3D-Earth (NextGenerationEU [UNICO-5G I+D/AROMA3D-EARTH (TSI-063000-2021-69)]) has been held in CTTC on the 5th of May 2023. TTI Norte and Fivecomm attended the meeting. The different partners discussed the way forward in executing the project, joint collaborations and proof-of-concept plans.
