Information and Signal Processing for Intelligent Communications (ISPIC) research unit is responsible for AROMA3D-EARTH while Space and Resilient Communications and Systems (SRCOM) research unit is responsible for AROMA3D-SPACE. Both research units are participating in AROMA3D-HYBRID.
TTI NORTE SL
TTI is a Spanish SME, which works at the technological forefront of the industrial sectors of Telecommunications, Aerospace, Defense, Security and Science. Founded in 1996, it has 100% private capital. TTI has a growing team of more than 80 professionals. TTI's headquarters are in Santander, although it also has a work center in Madrid.
TTI works mainly in the field of Radiofrequency and Antenna technologies in the development of advanced products (detailed design, component, and equipment prototypes, testing and validation), in their subsequent mass production, as well as in the integration and commissioning of ground station point providing turnkey solutions.
5G communications for future industry verticals S.L.
FIVECOMM is an SME focused on the design, development and implementation of 5G mobile technologies for vertical industries. We offer 5G based user devices including connected radars, software platforms for 5G use cases integrating nApps, IoT customized data platforms, as well as radio network planning, simulation and optimization tools. Our work in AROMA3D-EARTH will focus on two main research lines: implementation of cell-free massive MIMO and design of B5G solutions for mMTC communications.
INTEGRASYS SA
Integrasys is a privately owned company specialized in engineering and manufacturing of Satellite Spectrum Monitoring Systems in the telecommunication and broadcasting markets. At Integrasys our mission is to provide the industry with the best quality and fastest technology available in carrier monitoring systems, with the customer service and care that our customer's deserve. The research team of Integrasys is involved in AROMA3D-SPACE and AROMA3D-HYBRID, providing developments and demonstrations on interference detection/cancellation for NTN-B5G and satellite management, pool and sharing.
HISPASAT S.A.
Hispasat promotes the integration of the satellite in the development of 5G-6G participating in different European and National projects like AROMA3D, a national project led by CTTC and financed by funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. It is aimed at developing the technological solutions to enable future 3D network combining terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. In this project, Hispasat will participate in Aroma3D-Space and Aroma3D-Hybrid.
Hispasat contributes not only its experience in the definition, operation, and commercialization of satellite solutions, but also its vision as an operator for the development of new services and technologies. In addition, it will provide the resources of its teleports and its fleet of satellites for the demonstration of satellite 5G technology over real links in space.
Inster Tecnología y Comunicaciones, S.A.U.
The technological core of INSTER is radio communications, in particular broadband satellite communications, and data links for mobility applications. The company has developed a strong portfolio of products and solutions in the fields of fixed and mobile wireless communications for land, rail, railway, and aeronautical sectors. In AROMA3D, INSTER will investigate the use of Extremely High Frequencies from the point of view of the Satellite Terminal and, in addition, it will provide the necessary satellite ground equipment to carry out the Proof of Concept.
Nearby Computing S.L.
Nearby Computing was founded in 2018 (Barcelona, Spain) and operates globally in the area of network and service orchestration, having a particular focus on the Edge Computing challenges. The R&I department of Nearby Computing is participating in AROMA3D-Space and AROMA3D-Hybrid projects, aiming at improving the cloud continuum orchestration in satellite/hybrid scenarios, employing their cutting-edge NearbyOne orchestration platform.
